How to request a correction
- Include the article title and URL.
- Quote the specific passage you believe is incorrect.
- Provide a short explanation and, where possible, a source supporting the correction. Submit requests via our Corrections form.
How we handle corrections
- We review requests as promptly as practical.
- If a correction is warranted, we update the article and aim to note the change.
- If we disagree, we may respond with clarification or supporting sources.
Updates vs corrections
Some articles are updated as new data or policy detail emerges. Updates improve completeness; corrections fix errors.
